JW Talent Agency
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
1. Who we are
JW TALENT MANAGEMENT LTD, trading as JW Talent Agency, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales.
Company number: 17333497
Email: book@jwtalentagency.uk
2. Information we collect
When you submit an application through The Book, we may collect your full name, email address, phone number, primary discipline, Instagram handle, showreel or self-tape link, headshot, CV or résumé, personal statement, and privacy consent.
We may also receive basic technical information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser type and server logs.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to review your application, assess whether JW Talent Agency may be a suitable representative for you, contact you about your submission, prevent spam and misuse, keep appropriate business records, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Our lawful bases
We generally process submission information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before potentially entering into a representation agreement, and because we have legitimate interests in assessing and managing applications. Where we ask for consent, you may withdraw it at any time, although this will not affect processing already carried out.
5. Special category information
Please do not include sensitive personal information unless it is relevant and necessary for your application. If you voluntarily provide information revealing matters such as health, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation, we will only use it where permitted by law and with appropriate safeguards.
6. Who receives your information
Your information may be accessed by authorised members of the JW Talent team and by service providers used to operate the website, forms, email and secure storage. Our website and submission form are hosted through Netlify. We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or with your agreement when progressing an opportunity.
7. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are in place.
8. How long we keep applications
Unsuccessful or unprogressed applications are normally retained for up to 12 months from submission so that we can review the application and consider relevant opportunities. We may keep information longer where you ask us to, where a representation relationship begins, or where necessary for legal or business record-keeping. You may ask us to delete your application sooner.
9. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, so applicants should avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in uploads or messages.
10. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. To exercise a right, email book@jwtalentagency.uk. We may need to verify your identity.
11. Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
